Can’t make it to the monument when the group meets?

If you can’t make it to the monument when the group meets, but would like to visit anyway, park your car at the Scutt Rd. parking area.  Hike down to the bottom of the hill, (Scutt rd) until you get to the stream.  Follow the stream upstream until you get to a bridge, (very short walk), then follow the blue trail markers and signs to Layman’s Monument.
